Academia Baltica
An eventful history, scenic and cultural diversity and dynamic growth characterize the Baltic Sea region and neighboring Central and Eastern Europe, complemented by a growing European awareness.
As a binding element in between science and the interested public, as a forum for exchange and encounter of scientists, representatives of NGOs, students and journalists, the academy aims to discover the diversity and chances of the Baltic sea region. The topics in seminars, scientific colloquia, courses for pupils and students, presentations and study trips reach from politics to economics, literature to art, over bi- and multinational colloquia about the youngest history till international cooperation in media in the Baltic sea.
Up to a third of the participants come from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with Poles, Russians, Czechs, Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians in the lead.
