Contact and how to find us

The Academy Centre is located directly on the shores of Lake Sankelmark, about 9 kilometres from Flensburg. The village on the former federal road 76 is called Oeversee, and Sankelmark belongs to it.

By car

The easiest way to reach the Academy by car is via the Hamburg-Flensburg-Kolding motorway (A7), exit No. 4 Tarp. Continue in the direction of Sörup until you reach the roundabout: from there follow the U 67 (L317) in the direction of Flensburg until, after about 6 km, a sign points the way to the Academy. If your navigation device does not know the way to the Academy, please enter "Bundesstraße 76 Haus Nr. 6" and follow the signs.

By train

If you are travelling by train, get off at Flensburg station. From there, the Akademie Sankelmark may be reached by taxi (costs approx. 20.00 EUR) or with the bus lines 640 Flensburg/Schleswig and 860 Flensburg - Tarp/Eggebek. To get to the bus stop "Tegelbarg", walk out of the station building to the left and up the "serpentine" (or stairs). You reach Schleswiger Straße, turn left and cross the tracks on the bridge. The first street on the right is "Tegelbarg", where you will find the bus stop. 

Hvis du kommer fra Danmark

Bilister fra Danmark kommer lettest til akademiet via grænseovergangen ved Krusaa. Man følger ringvejen uden om Flensborg til Schleswig/Flensburg-Weiche/Jarplund-Weding. Herfra følges skiltene mod B 76 og Schleswig. Et henvisningsskilt ved B 76 markerer frakørslen til akademiet til højre (man skal ikke ind i landsbyen Sankelmark).
